Mary McCormack is an American actress who is known for her lead parts in the TV series 'Murder", 'The West Wind In Plain Sight' and "Loaded". Mary McCormack is known for her performances in the film 'Private Parties as well as 'Deep Insanity, True Crime and 1408. She was born to a psychologist and an ice cream store manager, McCormack hails from a family that has no connection to the entertainment field. She went to Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation from her parents around 1990 she enrolled at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, eventually graduating with a BA degree in comparative arts. At the age of 12, her stage career started with a performance of "Amahl, and the Night Visitor", a holiday opera. As she continued her career as a stage actress, McCormack ultimately became a part of films and television. McCormack, today recognized as one Hollywood's most versatile artists. She is married to director and producer Michael Morris, she has three children.
