Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actress. Her screen debut was with Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award as Best Actress. The actress speaks French, German, English and Romanian proficiently. Her father was an actor as well as her mother was a violinist. The award was presented to her as an award for the Best Female Actor Award in 2000, for her performance in the Mangalia Gala for Young Actors. The year 2008 saw her recognized"an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. She taught for four years at University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu Iasi. bAnamaria Martinca is an Romanian actress born on April 1, 1978 in Iasi, Romania. In addition to her outstanding performance in her debut movie she will also remember her performance on her role in the Romanian movie "4 months 3 weeks 2 days" which won her numerous accolades, among them an award from the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. The actress starred as an actor from Romania in Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and two days (four months three weeks and two days) that was awarded the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. In addition, she appeared as a child in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. She appeared in 2008 as Yasim in Angwar, the BBC five-episode Miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared on the Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegels Five Minutes of Heaven. Later, she had major roles in 2014's Fury where she was Irma who was the German maternal aunt to Emma.
